Was very shocked and disappointed at them charging 4 dollars a day per dog per day to be with u. I feel this is a cash grab as I am a responsible owner. I feel they don't need to do this as they say they will deal with people that don't pick up after there animals. So what do they do to deserve this extra income? Nothing. Good things About this campground is very family oriented place and has very nice clean showers and washrooms. Water is very stinky so bad u can smell it outside. Owner did stay up late to show us to our camp site which was very nice. Money mountain is great for parents and kids.there was no cell service in the valley good and bad for some people.would I go back probably no because of the idea of charge me 8 dollars a day. Other nice campgrounds around with out this silly charge.

the advertised 30 amp does not exist, 15 is all that's available. we were charged $4.00 per night for our small dog (???).
this sand hill advertised is a mud pile, granted they bring out the bobcat and rebuild the hill (glad I don't have small children to clean up). relatively quiet but rather crowded where we were. did not see the owner's except for registering. plenty of careless dog owners in the campground.

Every morning, the bobcat comes out and they throw change into the sand and build it up to about 8'-10' tall. This is known as Money Mountain. The kids dig in it all day and have fun. It's right in the playground area and the trailers surround the playground. Thank goodness the showers are well kept, because the kids get dirty! Our kids can't wait for our annual pilgrimage. The money comes from empty bottles campers donate. The kids spend the money they find on ice cream and candy at the store. The last time we got there, our site was flooded, so they gave us a nice pull-thru at no extra charge.
